- Be the RAC presence on the road: engage with customers, advise, and represent the RAC with pride across driveway visits, driveways, and customer sites.
- Deliver a mix of maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and checks; manage stock, complete reporting, and maintain ongoing customer conversations.
- Think on your feet to make the right call for each customer, handling different fixes and new challenges daily.
- As an RAC Mobile Mechanic, provide expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic services directly to customers, ensuring first-class service beyond traditional garages.
- Apply earnings potential and scheduling flexibility: 40-hour week with core hours and optional overtime opportunities.
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician with a range of light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
- A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings up to £50,000.
- Guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- 40 hours per week, with core hours 8:30am–5pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- Opt-in guaranteed overtime after the first month; potential to earn £3,000–£5,000 more per year depending on extra days worked.
- Tools and support: RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, diagnostic kit, and access to ongoing development.
