We are currently recruiting for a Female Security Supervisor
Your Time at Work42 hours per week
12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis working days, nights and weekends
/
£ with pay rise pending
CTC and DBS checks required for all potential candidates.
- Supervise and lead security officers during shifts, allocating duties and ensuring tasks are carried out correctly.
- Manage daily operations including staff deployment, break cover, sickness, and shift handovers.
- Ensure compliance with airport security regulations, G4S policies, and relevant legislation.
- Monitor and oversee security systems such as CCTV and access control.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches in a calm and professional manner.
- Ensure all security activities meet the required service level and client expectations.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily logs, and operational documentation.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments are followed.
- Record and escalate any operational issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain clear communication during shift briefings and handovers.
- Provide guidance and support to security officers on shift.
- Monitor staff performance and address conduct or presentation issues.
- Identify training needs and support ongoing development.
- Carry out welfare checks and ensure staff follow uniform and behaviour standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for airport management and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with emergency services when required.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Bag searches.
- Body searches when required on female passengers.
- Plane guarding.
- Aircraft searches in accordance with DfT/CAA regulations.
- Local operating procedures.
- Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
- Must be a UK resident for the last 5 years.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Good customer service/communicating skills.
- Must be able to pass the CRC check.
- Must be able to pass all required training.
- Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self‑employment or full and part time education during that period.
- Physical requirements include being able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, plus being able to work in outdoor weather environments.
