Supplier Quality Coordinator

Supplier Quality Coordinator – Leonardo – Edinburgh/Luton (UK)

• Review all supplier applications and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure complete, accurate, up-to-date documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure suppliers on the ASL do not expire on SAP, taking mitigation where required.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 Revision D and maintain the documented business Approved Suppliers List processes.
• Support Procurement in securing accredited quality certification for business‑approved suppliers.
• Create and communicate regular reports on the status of the Approved Supplier List to stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities, focusing on data analytics and streamlining current processes.
• Support business risk mitigation and collaborate with Supplier Quality colleagues on departmental surveillance plans.

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Business Management or Defence Electronics.
• Strong communication skills, able to deliver detailed information to customers at all levels.
• Aware of Procurement and Quality disciplines, ideally within Defence Electronics and Manufacturing.
• Understanding of quality auditing within the supply‑chain environment.
• Proficiency in producing key quality/supply‑chain metrics to support continuous improvement.
• Ability to support governance, AS9100 / ISO
  9001 and continuous improvement activities.

This role requires pre‑employment screening under the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Additional National Security Vetting may apply (SC or DV).
