Our Science Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship programme combines hands‑on experience with expert led instruction to build deep competency in aseptic processing, cleanroom operations, contamination control and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities
  • Aseptic Manufacturing & Support Operations
    • Set up raw materials, containers, and equipment required for aseptic manufacturing, following GMP documentation and customer priorities.
    • Perform routine and thorough cleaning and decontamination of cleanroom areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
    • Perform transfer sanitization on raw materials and consumables.
  • Quality Control & Compliance
    • Conduct visual inspection of finished products in line with product quality standards.
    • Carry out environmental monitoring and report deviations in accordance with SOPs.
    • Perform quality control checks on materials and products, ensuring they meet specifications and are released appropriately.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate
  • English and Mathematics GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent).
  • A keen interest in Pharmaceutical Industry (Aseptic/l/QC/Laboratory).
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
  • Strong communication and team-work skills.
  • High computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office.

Other Information

Aseptic manufacturing facilities operate under highly controlled conditions to ensure the production of sterile products without contamination. These working conditions are governed by strict regulations and guidelines.

Must hold GSCE grade 4 or above in both Maths and English GCSE's.
