Highways Surfacing Supervisor required for a contract opportunity overseeing multiple projects across Bedfordshire, covering planned term maintenance across the area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supervising civil and term maintenance projects.
- Writing reports and maintaining project documentation.
- Coordinating both in‑house and subcontracted labour across multiple sites.
- Overseeing traffic management where required.
Required qualifications:
- SMSTS / SSSTS certification.
- Valid NRSWA (National Roads and Streets Works Authority) ticket.
- Background in civil works within the highways sector and experience as a supervisor.
Employment conditions:
- Work schedule will involve a mix of days and nights with a night‑time uplift.
