This role requires a team player with flair and commercial ability, and the skill, energy and determination to help drive and develop the business alongside the General Manager. We are looking for a manager with experience of maintaining and developing the standards and reputation, whilst nurturing a growing membership base and team.

• Operational running of the gym at all times, including opening and closing as required.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard and conduct daily, weekly, monthly safety checks.
• Report and chase defects to ensure building and equipment safety.
• Achieve all sales and membership targets and maximise secondary spend revenue.
• Ensure highest standard of cleanliness and uniform standards for all team members.
• Deliver outstanding member service and create a positive work environment.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties/projects/meetings as required.
• Be an ambassador of JD Gyms.

• Management experience within a leisure related industry.
• Passion for customer service and inspirational leadership.
• Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
• Experience driving sales and coordinating local marketing activities.
• Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager experience managing all business areas within a leisure facility.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
