Role Overview

We’re seeking a Logistics Compliance Manager to ensure our UK operations meet all local and international regulations while driving innovation in compliance practices. As part of our Europe Region team, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding our global supply chain and supporting our mission to connect businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Expertise:
  Monitor UK/EU laws (customs, safety, data protection) and translate them into actionable policies.
• Daily Compliance:
  Audit warehouses, transport, and customs processes to identify risks and ensure accuracy in declarations.
• Risk Leadership:
  Develop strategies to tackle high-risk areas (e.g., smuggling, IP violations) and lead responses to HMRC/HSE inquiries.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Train teams, partner with legal/operations, and act as the go-to for compliance queries.
• Data & Ethics:
  Ensure GDPR compliance and promote ethical practices across logistics operations.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years in logistics compliance, with UK market experience (customs procedures, e-commerce regulations).
• Strong knowledge of UK regulators (HMRC, HSE) and cross-border logistics (EU/US trade a plus).
• Bachelor’s in Law/Supply Chain; ability to simplify complex regulations for teams.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and a proactive approach to risk.

Nice-to-Haves:

• CIPS/IEMA certifications or master’s degree.
• Fluency in another European language.
• Experience with GDPR and logistics tech (WMS, TMS).
