Position: Payroll Administrator (Finance)

Hybrid, office based in Luton Salary:
Competitive Payroll Administrator

We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Payroll team in Luton. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring payroll data is managed accurately and submitted on time, helping us support our people across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Inputting new starter information into the payroll system and processing leavers and relevant tax forms (e.g. P45s, P60s)
  • Managing weekly payrolls for over 9,000 employees and handling payroll queries
  • Reconciling wage accounts and processing wage journals
  • Carrying out payroll calculations such as maternity, paternity, sickness, and pensions
  • Liaising with HMRC and sending required information
  • Preparing and uploading Auto Enrolment reports (Excel) to our workplace pension provider
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a payroll team (around 2 years is helpful, but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to work well with people at all levels and a friendly and approachable manner
  • Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and be confident working to deadlines
  • A flexible and collaborative approach to working in a small team
  • Resilience and adaptability in a growing and evolving organisation
