Health & Safety Advisor (CDM / Contractor Compliance / NEBOSH) –

LOCATION:

Luton, Hybrid working available
• SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor with CDM and contractor compliance experience to join its Facilities team on a fixed-term basis. This role focuses on ensuring construction works, contractor activities, and facilities projects are delivered safely and compliantly across multiple operational sites. You will work closely with facilities teams, project teams, and external contractors to drive best practice in CDM compliance, contractor management, and workplace safety.

• Work within a large, complex manufacturing environment
• Influence contractor safety standards across multiple UK sites
• Hybrid working with real operational site engagement

As a Health & Safety Advisor you will help ensure facilities projects and contractor activities meet all relevant Health & Safety regulations and internal safety standards.

• Conducting Health & Safety inspections across contractor and facilities works
• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and contractor safety procedures
• Supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Producing reports, safety statistics and compliance documentation
• Ensuring actions raised through audits and inspections are closed out
• Providing practical safety advice to internal teams and contractors
• Promoting best practice across facilities and construction projects
• Building strong relationships across multiple operational sites

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
• Experience with in construction, engineering, facilities management or contractor-led environments
• Knowledge of Health & Safety auditing and compliance processes
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence safe behaviours

• NEBOSH Diploma (Level
  6)
• CSCS Card
• ISO 45001 / 14001 auditing experience
