The Lead FPGA Engineer (LFE) is responsible for the success of engineering activities within an Integrated FPGA Product Team or one of the products within an FPGA Product Line.

• Lead the engineering aspects of the FPGA project or product line.
• Manage an FPGA engineering team to deliver project outcomes.
• Define and communicate clear success outcomes.
• Plan, cost, and schedule FPGA engineering activities in collaboration with project management.
• Ensure adherence to engineering plans and lifecycle processes, leading design reviews.
• Oversee project completion to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Maintain communication with project leadership regarding progress and risks.
• Work closely with design authorities and support technical reviews and troubleshooting.

• Proven FPGA engineering management experience and project delivery.
• Degree in engineering or science (or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of FPGA development experience using VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with FPGA development tools (Mentor Graphics, Xilinx, Intel, Microsemi).
• Knowledge of FPGA requirements management, version control, and design methodologies.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• UK citizenship and eligibility for SC security clearance.
