Overview
Type: Permanent
A well-established and growing building services consultancy based in Berkshire is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to play a key role in the delivery and leadership of mechanical building services projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients on a varied and technically interesting workload.
Location:
Luton, ENG, UK
- Lead the mechanical design of HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, and public health systems
- Manage projects through all RIBA stages, from feasibility and concept to construction support
- Produce and review calculations, specifications, reports, and detailed designs
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and external consultants
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and attend design and site meetings
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and intermediate engineers
