Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Luton
Rate: 110 - 130 per day (dependent on experience)

Hours:

Term time only

This role is ideal for HLTAs who want to:
Experience both mainstream and SEN settings
Try different schools and expand their skillset
Work around their own schedule and take days off during term time
Support children in diverse learning environments while building long-term career goals

Key Responsibilities:

Cover lessons and deliver pre-planned work across KS1 and KS2
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
Adapt learning materials to suit a variety of needs and abilities
Collaborate with teaching staff to support positive learning outcomes
Help maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Key Requirements:

Higher Level Teaching Status (HLTS) qualification
Experience supporting teaching and learning in Primary settings
Confident in delivering lessons in the absence of a teacher
A flexible and proactive approach to working in different schools
Passionate about supporting children's education and development
