Supply Teachers - Luton & Dunstable

Keep Education is currently recruiting Supply Teachers to support primary and secondary schools across Luton and Dunstable. Whether you are looking for daily supply, long‑term assignments, or a route back into permanent teaching, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across a variety of year groups and subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher. Assignments may be pre‑booked or arranged on the day, providing flexibility and variety in your teaching experience.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with school planning
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and school expectations
• Mark work and provide feedback where required
• Maintain safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils
• Communicate effectively with school staff and your Keep Education consultant

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of safeguarding practices

• Previous classroom teaching experience in UK primary or secondary schools
• Experience delivering lessons across a range of abilities
• Confidence managing classroom behaviour independently

• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to adapt teaching styles to suit different learning needs
