Our Client is looking for an English ECT to work within a large inclusive comprehensive school in Luton. The successful English ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 with structured support and mentoring throughout their induction.

This 1118 mixed secondary school serves around 1250 pupils and maintains strong academic results with 93% achieving grades 94 in English and Maths. The English department is well-established and known for its creativity and emphasis on analytical thinking and confident communication.

ECTs receive comprehensive support through weekly observations developmental feedback and access to an in-house professional learning programme. The school pairs new teachers with experienced mentors who guide them through planning assessment and classroom management.

Teachers describe the school as friendly inclusive and forward-thinking. Leadership is approachable and prioritises staff wellbeing offering reduced teaching loads in the first term and regular opportunities for training and reflection.
