Up to £65,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance

7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday) – flexibility available, arranged on site

About Our Client

Projects are typically located within 1.5 hours of the office, and the company fosters a positive culture with regular social activities and a commitment to finishing on time.
The Project
This is an exciting opportunity to join a £12 million internal refurbishment of an industrial building, spread across three buildings, based in Luton. The scheme is set to last for one year, and you will work alongside another Site Manager and two Project Managers to ensure smooth delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure safe systems of work and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Manage site productivity to achieve timely project completion.
• Oversee activities to meet contract and cost constraints.
• Minimize environmental and community impact.
• Coordinate interfaces between stakeholders.
• Deliver the project to the specification and quality demanded by the client.
Person Specification
• Previous experience working for a general contractor on schemes up to £5 million.
• Experience in refurbishment projects is essential; candidates with mixed experience (new build and refurbishment) are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with industry ISO standards.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse clients.
• Proven leadership and team management ability.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
Qualifications
• Appropriate grade CSCS Card.
• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid qualification.
