You will also provide appropriate advice and support to residents, internal services and external organisations as required.
We are looking for someone who is organised, flexible and co‑operative, with the ability to plan and manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. You should be a confident team player who is willing to use initiative, contribute ideas and help improve systems and processes. Telephone duties and additional tasks will be undertaken as required.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly, courteously, and tactfully with people at all levels, including residents, colleagues, and partner organisations.
You will understand equality and diversity issues and a willingness to work in line with the Council’s internal policies and key business policies relevant to the housing sector. You will be organised and able to plan, prioritise and manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines.
You will have good written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and accurate emails and reports, demonstrating a good standard of spelling and grammar. You will be confident in using a range of IT systems to support your work and maintain accurate records.
You will hold Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards these as part of the apprenticeship. You must be able to commit to the relevant apprenticeship training, including Functional Skills if required.
