OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a CI Auditor for our Continuous Improvement Department at a folding carton manufacturing operation. This is a skilled trade position where employees build successful careers in the Printing & Packaging industry. Employees advance their careers through on the job training and job progression.

CI AUDITOR SUMMARY

Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Selects products for tests at specified stages in production.
  • Processes and tests products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and appearance.
  • Records test data, applying statistical process control procedures.
  • Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook email.
Qualification Requirements

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Background / Experience
  • 1‑2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 1‑2 years quality inspector experience.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Work Schedule

Employees are required to work 8‑hour (M‑F) or 12‑hour (2‑2‑3) schedules including weekends. Occasional overtime is required.
