Finishing Helper at Graphic Packaging International – a role that feeds, pulls and checks cartons in our folding carton manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities- Feeds cartons into the machine bed.
- Picks up cartons from the conveyor and stacks them into baskets or cases.
- Pushes the control button to activate the end loader.
- Checks cartons for quality.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent attendance and the ability to work independently.
- Pass the pre‑employment mechanical assessment.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Mathematical skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates, ratios, percentages and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning – solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
8‑hour (Mon‑Fri) or 12‑hour (2‑2‑3) schedules, including weekends. Occasional overtime is required.
Physical DemandsStand, use hands, reach, talk or hear, walk. Lift or carry 10–25 lb, occasionally 26–50 lb. Close and distance vision required.
Work EnvironmentRegular exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loudly noisy environment. Personal protective equipment required.
