UNC Health southeastern Cardiology & Cardiovascular Care seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our community‑based practice of Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiovascular Surgeons, and APPs.

• Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• One weekend/month, Saturday‑Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for consultations
• Combination of clinical duties, stress testing, and patient consultation

Education Requirements:

Completion of an accredited graduate‑level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program. Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department.

Plans are underway to add fellowship programs in cardiology, critical care, and sports medicine in 2025 and 2026.

Professional Experience Requirements: APP experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated clinical competency. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.

Located in Robeson County, Lumberton, North Carolina, the position is ideally situated on I‑95 just 20 minutes north of the South Carolina border.
