OverviewAs a Program Facilitator, you will be instrumental in preparing offenders for successful community reintegration through Cognitive Behavioral Intervention, Interactive Journaling, and Life Skills program modules. Your role involves individual and group counseling, curriculum development, and collaboration with staff to implement evidence‑based practices.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate classroom instruction in career planning, social adjustment, personal management, social skills development, and critical thinking.
- Provide individual and group counseling on self‑esteem, problem solving, relationships, and related issues.
- Communicate with inmates about pre‑release activities, plans, terminology, and community resources.
- Review and enhance curriculum and resources to increase participant engagement in pre‑release and life‑skills programs.
- Maintain class rosters, attendance records, and provide certificates for programs.
- Assist inmates in planning and developing post‑release plans, encouraging responsibility for post‑release behaviors.
- Facilitate didactic educational presentations, group and individual counseling sessions.
- Co‑coordinate resident program schedules to meet participant needs and Individual Program Plan goals.
- Maintain documentation, notes, and discharge summaries.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- At least two (2) years of work experience in a related field, familiarity with community corrections systems and practices.
- Knowledge of community workforce needs and employment services.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Basic understanding of case management, referral services, and criminal justice system.
- Excellent presentation, public speaking, and facilitation skills.

- Competitive Salary: $42,000 – $45,000 (Full‑time, Lumberton, NC)
