In this frame, the company is currently seeking a dynamic Technology Engineer Liquid and Solid Technologies to join our R&D Division and work with a passionate, detail‑oriented, and international team to develop and maintain our projects.
Mainduties and responsibilities
- Execute R&D activities and projects aimed at developing melamine, NPK, urea process, plant and equipment design.
- Participate in the definition of R&D projects, including project team, targets, schedule and deliverables.
- Execute the R&D project activities according to the plan; simulate processes, design equipment, prepare specifications and technical documentation, and review relevant patent documents.
- Hold kick‑off, periodic status review, closeout and other R&D project meetings.
- Monitor and report the work carried out by external partners involved in R&D projects.
- Assess risk and propose validation of new technologies as part of the R&D projects.
- Participate in the validation of new technologies (planning tests/experiments, designing test plants at lab or pilot scale).
- Prepare the input needed for the release of technologies from R&D at the end of the R&D project.
- Share the information and know‑how generated in the R&D project.
- Screen ideas for potential new R&D projects.
- Incorporate discoveries in melamine, NPK, urea process, plant and equipment design into new technologies development.
- Evaluate the benefits and risks of discoveries incorporated in melamine, NPK, urea process, and equipment design as part of new technologies development.
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering focused on process development.
LanguagesFluent written and spoken English.
SkillsGood knowledge of software tools for plant simulation and equipment; good team player, ability to work collaboratively with others, both inside and outside the company, self‑motivated with strong organizing skills.
ExperiencePreferably 2–4 years of work experience in an engineering company operating on chemical or petrochemical plants; specific work experience in melamine/fertilizers will be considered as a preferred qualification.
