Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

Compensation – $11.00 to $14.00 per hour plus commission.

A commission structure pays you for every transaction processed. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers in a positive, professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They thrive on engaging with customers and assist with inquiries and problem resolution.

Associates work with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The Full‑Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, plus commission based on productivity. Pay will be based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise display.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform extended standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Employees may be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Should be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
