Job Overview

Join Target as a General Merchandise Expert, where you will be responsible for ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and arranging merchandise.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy.
• Learn about operational procedures and their impact on inventory management and store profitability.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Support guest services, such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate and operate technology equipment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and accurately.
