You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

• You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.
• When you pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is required.
• You should engage by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in some circumstances, but you must respond to our contact attempts to confirm interest in shifts. If you do not respond, your employment may be terminated.
• If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated.
• Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it are critical to success in this role.
• Upon offer, you may be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule. After training, the myTime app is used to pick shifts.

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Engage with guests to assist with their needs and resolve issues.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the total store to help guests and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Highlight current brand launches, store activities, and events; promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
• Educate guests on Wallet and Target App features and offerings.
• Handle returns following policy; work with leaders as needed to resolve guest concerns.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per policies.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders and returns while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Support cash office processes as needed, including cash systems management.

• Accurately handle cash register operations and cash office tasks as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise; occasionally lift up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts; failure to work within 5 months may be grounds for termination.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions; remain mobile for shift duration.
• Excellent communication and ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners.
