Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Medical Surgical/Telemetry position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

• Work in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults with med/surg and telemetry needs
• Night shift schedule from 18:00 to 06:00
• No local travelers permitted within a 50-mile radius
• Role involves caring for adult patients with a variety of medical and telemetry needs
• All requests for time off must be less than one week
• No first-time travelers will be accepted if they do not meet specialty experience requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in medical surgical/telemetry nursing
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Certifications must be valid for the entire contract
• Drivers license required for consideration
• Social Security Number must be provided (US only, no Canadian SIN accepted)
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
