Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00
• Care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• No local travelers permitted within a 50-mile radius
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be less than one week
• Candidates must provide a valid driver’s license for consideration
• Holiday coverage and weekend rotation may be required
• Assignment is not open to local travelers living within 50 miles of the facility
Requirements
• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
