Department: Quality Care Rehab
Location: Pine Crest
Compensation: $40.00 - $43.00 / hour
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients’ specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.
- Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function and promote recovery. Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
- Ensure the proper application of various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust parameters as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and techniques for managing pain and discomfort.
- Monitor patients’ responses to treatment interventions, document progress, and communicate updates to the supervising physical therapist.
- Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current license/certification in the state of practice
