Description: You will be the primary Manufacturing Engineer for the Tactical Missile (TSM) Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) area of Lufkin Production Operations. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to support the production of high-quality products. The Manufacturing Engineer will support an immediate team of Production Operators/Supervisors and Manufacturing, Quality, and Industrial Engineers; and will be required to regularly interface with a broader team of Program Management and Design Engineering functions as needed.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
As the CCA Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to shop floor personnel, developing and managing manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions, and analyzing and resolving hardware defects. You will also be responsible for implementing engineering design changes, training new manufacturing engineers, and supporting area-wide process improvement initiatives.

This position may require up to 10% overtime annually in support of program execution. This position may also require periodic weekend support.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance; must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of an ERP manufacturing system
- Working knowledge of Windchill or equivalent PLM system
- Knowledge of J-STD-001 specification or equivalent
- This position requires occasional overtime up to 10% annually and periodic weekend support
- 5 years of Professional Experience
- Green belt training or certification
- Demonstrated experience of supporting teams of multiple functions
- Experience in developing, managing, and improving build processes to turn raw materials into functional product per engineering and industry specifications
- Experience in coordinating projects for process improvements
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
