Architectural Draftsman Join Our Team at Palmetto Engineering & Consulting (PEC)!

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in architectural drafting and a solid understanding of construction documents and construction practices.

What Youll Do:
  • Prepare accurate architectural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD.
  • Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to incorporate design changes.
  • Revise drawings based on redlines, field conditions, and project requirements.
  • Maintain drafting standards and ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and regulations.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture (architectural drafting required)
  • Strong understanding of building construction and drawing standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with team members, advisors, and clients.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • This role involves regular travel to job sites. A valid drivers license is required.
  • Experience with Revit is a plus, but not required.
Work Schedule:
Standard schedule:
Monday Friday (8-hour shifts), with occasional variations based on project needs.
