DATA PROCESSING OPERATOR
Corporate Office, Lufkin, TX
Tuesday – Saturday 11pm – 8am
A Data Processing Operator will maintain the daily operation of the corporate computer systems and related equipment, and provide support for corporate office and store level systems.
- Perform daily backups of corporate computer data by using established procedures.
- Provide support to retail personnel regarding store ordering procedures, hardware or software issues.
- Monitor use of computer printers and forms and verify that equipment and supplies are maintained properly.
- Assist computer users with system usage, needs and problems.
- Print, record and distribute various documents as requested.
- Document new system procedures and continually update the system master manual.
- Monitor the inventory of Data Center supplies and provide the Senior Data Processing Operator with recommended orders as necessary.
- Assist in training fellow data processing operators by working closely with them and providing direction when necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience in mainframe computer operations environment and/or college courses preferred.
REQUIREMENTS- Basic Knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Tools (Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Set work schedule but willing to work some weekends or holidays if needed.
- Capable to stand for periods of time to perform some job functions.
