Behavior Technician – Autism Care Partners

- Work one‑on‑one with children implementing BCBA‑designed plans to build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Utilize principles of ABA (reinforcement, prompting) to teach adaptive behaviors in language, socialization, play, self‑help, and motor skills.
- Address behavior reduction goals using ABA principles.
- With training, implement skill development programs and provide physical guidance as needed to ensure client safety.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
- Convert sessions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Track and record RBT hours each month and submit within timeframe.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
- Attend trainings as required.
- Maintain high degree of confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- No experience required – we will train.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to utilize technology and work with challenging behavior.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to frequently assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) while attending to the needs of active children.
- Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with challenging behavior.
- No prior criminal history.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
