Role Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, adding effects, and creating engaging video content that aligns with our brand's goals. You should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and design, along with technical proficiency in editing software.
Key responsibilities
· Using editing software to cut, trim, and arrange video footage into a polished product.
· Adding and synchronizing audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects.
· Incorporating visual elements such as graphics, titles, and special effects.
· Making adjustments to colour, lighting, and quality to ensure consistency.
· Collaborating with directors, producers, and other team members to understand and execute the project's vision.
· Presenting the final product and making revisions based on feedback.
· Ensuring the final video is free of errors before submission.
Required skills and qualifications
· Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
· Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
· Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication skills to collaborate with creative teams.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
