Minimum Qualifications- Minimum age 17 years.
- High school diploma or GED (documentation required).
- Valid driver's license.
- One full year of high school algebra (or equivalent) with a grade of "C" or better.
- Qualifying score on an aptitude test.
- Honorably discharged veterans and individuals with prior electrical work/training may qualify for direct entry or interview.
Applicants meeting basic requirements will be interviewed and selected based on order of final ranking.
Pre-Registration Requirements- Pass a drug screen.
- Pass a colorblind test.
- Acquire an apprentice license from the State of Texas, which includes a background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
