Regional Irrigation Sales Manager

Location:

Texas South Central

Our client, an esteemed Irrigation company focusing on the agricultural sector, is expanding its operations in the Texas to Alabama region and is seeking a dynamic sales professional to collaborate with Dealers and Distributors.

The ideal candidate should possess sales expertise in irrigation or related agricultural fields, along with an engineering or technical background to actively engage in hands‑on tasks.

This role demands a delicate blend of agricultural industry understanding, demonstrated sales performance, customer‑centric approach, technical acumen, and a sales‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all sales operations in the designated territory, involving activities such as sales facilitation, marketing support, technical assistance, product information dissemination, engineering specifications, troubleshooting guidance for dealers, consulting engineers, end‑users, and other sales personnel.
  • Offer pre‑ and post‑sales support.
  • Provide technical guidance on company products to potential irrigation clients, designers, architects, and engineers.
  • Supervise and assist dealers and distributors.
  • Extensive travel within the assigned area.
Background
  • Technical background in the agricultural irrigation sector.
  • Familiarity and experience in selling to the irrigation/pump industry.
  • Proficient in solution‑oriented sales techniques.
  • Experience in conducting product seminars for large audiences.
  • Exemplary work ethic, good judgment, diplomatic skills, analytical thinking, and professional conduct.
  • Ability to handle financial calculations, forecasting, budget creation, and management.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field and/or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years in a similar role with exposure to irrigation practices.
