Major/Essential Functions
- Coordinate daily staff assignments based on patient needs and unit priorities, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to accurately document and communicate patient information, supporting informed clinical decision-making and continuity of care.
- Assist with or perform patient examinations and procedures, documenting all interventions in the EMR in a timely manner.
- Administer or assist in the administration and proper documentation of medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Develop, implement, and uphold nursing standards to ensure consistent high-quality patient care.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, supporting both patients and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Day Shift Employees:
Earn an extra $4.00 per hour for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday. - Night Shift Employees:
Earn an extra $4.00 per hour for shifts worked Monday through Friday and an extra $8.00 per hour for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday.
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at .

Required Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Two years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months of that experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Possession of a valid, current RN license as approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners.
