Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - Mid Shift 2-10pm
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) and make a meaningful difference in patient care. You will provide complex nursing services, including medication administration, patient education, and documentation, under the supervision of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager.
With a focus on quality care during the mid-shift hours, this position is ideal for experienced nurses seeking a stable schedule and competitive pay.
- Valid Texas nursing license (LVN)
- Minimum of 1 year, preferably 2+ years, of direct care nursing experience
- Competency in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc.
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass a urine drug screen, background check, and FBI fingerprint background check
- Valid photo , TB documentation, and COVID-19 negative test result
Skills:
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Education and Experience:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in Texas
- At least 2 years of hands‑on nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Successful completion of initial training (8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, first 5 weeks)
- Willingness to work mid‑shift hours (2pm-10pm)
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $36, with local and travel rates available.
