Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Step Down unit provides skilled nursing care to patients, potentially floating between units as needed. The role requires proficiency in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips and familiarity with EPIC electronic health records. The RN will work every other weekend and expected patient ratios are 1:4.

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Step Down unit.
- Float between units as required.
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Monitor and document patient conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC system.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of work.
- Proficiency in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.

- Experience with EPIC electronic health records.

Special Considerations:

- Must be comfortable floating between units.

Scheduling:
- 48-hour shifts may be approved.
