Under the direction of the PAS manager, the Patient Access Representative assists patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits and completes financial clearance functions.

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival processing for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information and patient liability at the time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions for scheduled accounts during registration downtime.
• Manage miscellaneous client service activities, including valuables collection.
• Provide basic customer service and greet patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote positive encounters.

• 6 months of healthcare experience in a business office, hospital, or medical office setting.
