Recurrent Staff Employee
Position DescriptionA job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work with the GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program, where the employee is called in as needed.
Major/Essential Functions- Plan, coordinate, and implement GUIDE program initiatives and events to engage rural healthcare professionals and promote dementia care, awareness and services.
- Coordinating assessments within GUIDE program of patients.
- Develop and manage relationships with healthcare professionals, organizations, community groups, and government entities to support and provide GUIDE program initiatives.
- Assist in developing, managing/maintaining a database of contacts and resources for GUIDE program.
- Perform other duties as assigned in order to accomplish the mission/goals of GUIDE program and the GIA.
- Intermediate skill level in using Microsoft Office programs.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Background in running/overseeing clinic operations, building programs in clinics and working with government programs.
Bachelor’s degree in job related field plus one (1) year of responsible experience
Occasional Duties- Prepare and submit progress reports as requested/required to director of Memory Clinic.
- Represent GUIDE program and the GIA at community events and meetings as needed.
