Certified Pharmacy Technician PRN – Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital

Join Surgery Partners, Inc as a Certified Pharmacy Technician PRN in Lubbock, working part‑time to support pharmacy services across the hospital including order entry, stocking, IV preparation, and transportation.

• Assist in delivery of pharmacy services including order entry, stocking, IV preparation, ordering, transportation, and any other duty as allowed or requested by the pharmacist.
• Provide communication of pertinent pharmacy issues.
• Participate in the quality improvement activities of the department.
• Participate in hospital meetings/committees as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent. College courses desirable but not required.
• 3 years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Emergency drug therapy – ACLS/BLS
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy reference materials, drug information, computer systems, inventory/stock control, drug/solutions delivery systems, laws and regulations affecting pharmacy practice.
• Human development knowledge/skills and Pharmaceutical Care Needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Computer skills: understanding of fundamental computer terms, email, electronic files, printing electronic documents and reports.

• Flexible scheduling.
• No mandatory overtime.
