YOUR FUTURE TEAM As part of TCEQ Compliance and Enforcement, you would help ensure that those we regulate comply with the stateand#8217;s environmental laws. See details about what we do. This position is a member of our North Central West Texas Division.
- Manage and communicate information regarding compliance and enforcement and monitoring activities for the region's Air/Water/Waste Programs.
- Coordinate, schedule, monitor, and communicate information regarding the progress of the region's Air/Water/Waste Programs.
- Complete personnel management functions, which includes interviewing, hiring, and developing staff, performance management, etc.
- Advise the Regional Director of significant program issues.
- Provide outreach and technical assistance to the general public, regulated community, media, and government officials.
- Provide technical and programmatic input for regulation development.
- Experience with state and federal laws and/or regulations related to air/water/waste.
- Experience managing the work of staff.
Experience in the management of a business function, division, or department relevant to assignment or graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment. Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility.

Work Schedule Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ North Central and West Texas Division.
