Chaparral is seeking a skilled Insulation Project Engineer to join our team across various locations throughout Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of firestop projects while adhering to strict deadlines and budget requirements. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who excels in project management and is committed to maintaining the highest standards in firestop engineering.
PositionDescription
- Plan, execute, and finalize firestop projects according to specified timelines and budget constraints.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with safety and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths to ensure seamless execution.
- Coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors for flawless project delivery.
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct risk management to minimize potential project risks.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Assist with sales activities and foster strong customer relationships.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in construction or relevant internships is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and firestop‑related documentation.
- Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Resourceful and proactive in problem‑solving.
- Professional attitude and experience.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
