Position DescriptionTexas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Office of Research, Innovation, Collaboration and Entrepreneurship (RICE) seeks a self‑motivated, disciplined marketing student enrolled in the TTU System to join the RICE team. Responsibilities include creating branding and marketing materials for RICE programs, managing the RICE website and social media channels, and performing assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor. This part‑time position averages 15 hours per week and is anticipated to continue through the academic calendar year.
Major/ Essential Functions
- Consult with RICE Directors and the Research Multimedia Journalist to determine branding and marketing needs
- Travel to on‑campus and off‑campus locations to document RICE events and programs and post to social media channels
- Manage video and photography shooting and editing for programs and events
- Manage social media content, including:
- Linked In
- Create and coordinate marketing collateral for all RICE programs, including:
- Brochures
- Flyers
As assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications- A student enrolled in at least six hours.
- TTUHSC enrolled student
- Experience in photography and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop
- Experience in Canva and/or In Design
- Working knowledge of AP style writing
- Experience managing social media accounts
