Senior Child Development Teacher

The Teacher works as a team member to provide a safe and secure environment to enhance a child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development as part of our Texas Rising Star. The Teacher is responsible for co‑teaching with other educators in the center, organizing and planning a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the center's philosophy and Texas Rising Star guidelines.

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Or
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies and Human Development
• Upon hire:
  Background Check Clearance by the TX Department of Social Services is required for this position.
• Upon hire:
  No convictions related to child abuse, offenses against persons, sexual offenses, child neglect, felony offenses involving controlled substances, or any other offenses bearing substantial relation to the qualifications, functions and duties of an employee of a child‑care facility
• 2 years of experience teaching in a licensed childcare facility

The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
