Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, and friends of the Texas Tech University System to secure leadership annual and major gifts. Established in 1996, the Texas Tech University System is one of the top public university systems in the nation, consisting of five universities - Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Angelo State University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and Midwestern State University. • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, and friends of the Texas Tech University System to secure planned gifts and major gifts.
• Constructive management of donor portfolios, utilizing tools and prospect management cycle.
• Build constructive and effective relationships to become a reliable resource for fundraising initiatives, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with philanthropic partners and colleagues across the System.
• Communicate clearly and succinctly through all communication vehicles.
• Live and promote the values of the Texas Tech University System:

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills; excellent time management and multi-tasking skills; knowledge of all aspects of fundraising, including annual giving, planned giving, campaign management, and strategic planning or the proven ability to become highly proficient in these areas; demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office.

Bachelor's degree plus one year related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience equal to five years.

Adherence to robust safety practices and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations are responsibilities of all TTU employees.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
