A great rehab provider in West Texas, ranked in the top 10% yearly, is looking to add a general physiatrist to their team. This role allows a physician to build their practice in a myriad of different manners. This client provides patient-centric clinical care for their patients and remains focused on providing an excellent quality of work/life balance for their clinicians, too.
You have options for how to design your practice:
It’s rare to have the ability to design your practice in such a manner! This is primarily an inpatient role, with the opportunity to have outpatient as part of your practice, or hospital consults. You can design your ideal practice, as we have a large program and the room for people to explore their own interests. The facility employs a comprehensive continuum of clinical care with a holistic, interdisciplinary approach;
you will join a team of physiatrists and residents in providing excellent rehabilitative care. You will contribute to the field while teaching PM&R residents, participating in research if you wish.
- Provide expert inpatient care to a diverse patient population, including stroke, brain injury and general rehab
- Inpatient consults available, if you choose.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Actively engage in teaching and mentorship activities with PM&R residents.
- Contribute to ongoing research, academic projects, and advocacy efforts aimed at advancing the field of rehabilitation.
- MD/DO degree with board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
