, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Pre-Owned Vehicle Technician to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen".

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
• Perform multi‑point inspections on pre‑owned vehicles.
• Recondition as per used car managers authorization.
• Maintain accountability for all dealership‑owned tools and manuals.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well‑informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.

• Previous experience as a service technician required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Manufacture ASE certifications preferred.
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre‑employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license.
