Service Technician / Mechanic
Join our team at Cavender Auto Family — a trusted dealership network with 18+ locations across Texas and beyond. The Cadillac of Lubbock, Texas dealership is looking for a skilled Service Technician / Mechanic to help us "Make Confidence Happen".

- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Any other duties as assigned by Management
- Previous experience as a service technician required
- Strong automotive background
- Manufacturer ASE certifications preferred
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
- Valid driver's license
