Responsible for computer data entry of customer and accounts records. Efficiently review detailed information with accuracy. Detail edit of data entry. Filing of bookkeeping forms and records. Scanning of documents. Provide assistance to branch personnel.
Essential Functions And Basic Duties- Assumes responsibility for effective and timely performance of assigned Operations functions.
- Computer data entry of customer and account records.
- Detail edit of deposit account information entered.
- Filing of forms and records.
- Ensure that work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
- Cross-train throughout deposit operations department.
- Backup in all areas of deposit operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional business relations with customers, other financial institutions and merchants.
- Obtains and conveys information as needed. Composes correspondence as needed.
- Resolves (or refers) questions and requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintains the Bank’s professional reputation.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relations with Bank personnel and with management.
- Assists related departments as needed.
- Supports and replaces deposit operations personnel as needed.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
- Completes required reports and related documents.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Stays informed of changes in Deposit Operations policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Backup in all areas of Department Operations.
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS- Deposit Operations functions are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Editing of documents is accurate and timely.
- Records and reports are correctly prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
- Good working relations exist with internal departments. Questions are promptly and courteously resolved. Assistance is provided as needed.
- Management is appropriately informed.
Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Knowledge: General banking knowledge.
Experience
Required:
1-3 years of clerical experience or equivalent higher education level.
1 year banking experience is helpful.
PC Computer Skills Required- Computer data entry experience.
- Ira and CD Experience helpful.
- Accurate and attentive to detail.
- Well organized.
- Ability to assist others.
- Able to use PC, calculator, phone, and all related business equipment.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Regular attendance required.
- Finger Dexterity: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.
- Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
- Repetitive Motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.
- Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
40 hours per week.
