Position: Receptionist for Busy Doctor Office

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager with strong computer skills to join our dynamic team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, managing office resources, and ensuring smooth functioning of the office environment at both of our locations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in office management, exceptional organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of various computer applications and software.

The Kidney Care Center has two locations, Lubbock, Texas and Hobbs, NM.

This is a Monday - Friday 8am-5pm position

Responsibilities
  • Administrative activities within the office, including managing patient appointments, phones, fax, scanning, insurance, filing, organization, support to all coworkers, and multitasking.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of office resources, such as supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Handle general office operations, including mail distribution, answering phones, and responding to inquiries.
  • Implement and maintain effective filing systems, both electronic and physical, for easy retrieval of documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate interdepartmental communication and coordination.
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with office management software and databases.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while also functioning well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in doctor's office.
